I really do believe we've all had our fill of snow, yet there is MORE in our 10 day forecast! Spring ... I'm thinking maybe it's been canceled this year .....
The pictures are beautiful! How is it that something as beautiful as snow can cause so much misery? We have another one in our forecast as well, 4 times in one year is unheard of this far south!
It was a beautiful snow -- the power is still on -- and our road is passable. And there's a bit more moisture for the water table which has been too low for years. Could be worse. Remaining resolutely positive.
No snow for us, and I'm relieved. But it is beautiful, Vicki, and it's not so deep that you have to worry over clean up, and you have your power. The wind was fierce here. Blue sky shaking itself off like foil right now.
So far this winter we have had 52" of snow - still have 8 on the ground - but my Mom saw a Robin yesterday so the hope of Spring is out there! I can't believe how much snow you have gotten.
Thank you Vicky. Nice weekend to you too. I hope you are not cut off, although that could be inspiring. See H.D. Thoreau who produced his bestseller Walden in his small remote house.
Kay - love that 'shaking itself off like foil' - you poet, you!
Mountainwoman -- I sing to keep from crying, as someone told me long ago.
Liz -- Robins are good! This has been an exceptionally cold and snowy winter for us but nothing compared to what you all in the Chicago area are used to.
Thanks, Helene -- on good days it can seem very Walden-ish around here!

You just can't shake off that snow, can you? Surely, spring isn't too far away now, is it?

We got a few more inches, too. I'm in winter heaven. Those turkies are just delightful!

I do so admire your positive attitude! The snow bypassed us for a change but the winds are fierce. Beautiful photographs.

Pretty pictures! We only got a dusting and I was glad!
