This post is so well-timed. It comes just when are in dire need of some brightness in our grey days.Yellow was my grandmother's favourite colour. In fact, I think she won a letter prize in a national newspaper, for arguing the case for yellow.
Yellow warms me up as though I was standing in a ray of sunshine. I love sunflowers. All that lovely yellow was good to see on this rainy day.
Oh so refreshing, needed and appreciated.

The opening and closing pictures are from the Cotswolds, Martin, as is the little cowslip. Yes, we're back to gray today after three gloriously sunny days -- ready for some yellow!
Such a cheerful colour - no surprise that so many of our Spring flowers are yellow.
I'm waiting for yellow-in the form of daffodils and tulips : ) Liked the slide show too!
I guess white is over, now.Beautiful varieties of yellow things, beautiful shades of this warm colour .
Soon I hope -- though snow is forecast for tomorrow . . .
