This post is so well-timed. It comes just when are in dire need of some brightness in our grey days.

Yellow was my grandmother's favourite colour. In fact, I think she won a letter prize in a national newspaper, for arguing the case for yellow.

Yellow warms me up as though I was standing in a ray of sunshine. I love sunflowers. All that lovely yellow was good to see on this rainy day.

Yes, we're back to gray today after three gloriously sunny days -- ready for some yellow!

Such a cheerful colour - no surprise that so many of our Spring flowers are yellow.
