Ah, If Only . . .

I got this great card from my friend Josie -- whose daughter Gretchen just happens to be the talent behind  Roger That -- a source for delightfully silly, occasionally rude, often irreverent, and hopelessly weird greeting cards.

Maybe I'll send it to my editor as a suggested marketing plan . . .

And now for something less silly. Over at HERE, WHERE I AM - a  blog by NC's past poet laureate -- Kay has been kind enough to post one of my efforts. Slip on over, have a look around, and enjoy one of the top thirty poetry blogs.

The card is great. You what they say; many a true word, spoken in jest!

I really enjoyed your poem, by-the-way. Have you ever thought of putting a collection together?

Ah-AH-H-H!! (that's the heavenly voices accompanying your book card)

I'm popping over to read your poetry...

I love the poem! I agree with Martin...a book of verse would be great. As long as it doesn't interfere with Elizabeth's adventures. Perhaps Elizabeth could take to writing poetry and you could showcase some of your poems in the mysteries.

Thanks, folks -- you're too kind.

I have thought of one of those mypublisher.com books combining some photos and poems. Martin has put together a nice one. But first I have to get Elizabeth and Gloria out of the pickle in which they currently find themselves.

That's a thought, mountainwoman. Elizabeth as poet . . . hmmm . . .

I went to read your poem at Here, Where I am, and loved it. It evokes a mood of darkness but also of happy pets. The illustration for it was perfect. I did not know that blog and I’ll go back to check it. Thanks for the link.

Thank you, Miss Yves - I hope I understood your invitation correctly. Have fun with that adorable grandson -- Elizabeth can wait!

And thank you, Vagabonde. Kay's blog is always a refreshing/inspiring stop for me.

Hello Pamela -- I'm fascinated by Patagonia and will pay your other blog a visit!

Hey, Carol, My agent said the same thing -- of course, paying for that kind of marketing could be difficult.
