Today will be our hottest day in the DC area. 90 degrees at 8 a.m. and dripping humidity. Heat index of 110 predicted. I've never really understood the heat index. I just know it's bloody hot and getting hotter.
What is it is not too hot for? A flight to Northern California on Saturday morning... (I'm also in the DC metro area). Can't wait for some proper San Francisco fog.
