How wonderful to see her making a special friend her own age! The other kids look so much smaller. I can foresee a play date at the farm for her friend to meet the cows and dogs and Josie’s babies and the two snooty cats. �� I miss seeing the kittehs, btw.
That's hilarious. I was guessing some old-time mountain allusion I was missing. I had actually googled Auke in Ank and found some foreign obit where Auke died and Ank was a survivor.🤣

Good to hear...since Josie is mainly around adults (from what I've heard here) and the library group is a great interactive play place.
How sweet to make friends instead of simple parallel play. Another big step in growing up.
