Aren't you glad you aren't writing in 1863? Dip that pen in ink and scratch a few lines. Did you ever write with a dip pen? (I think they may have had steel nibs by 1863, but if not, you're dealing with quills!) And did you make your own ink? Oh those were the days, my friend.

Write on, Vicki!
I am dreading going out to work today. The temperature will be about 4 degrees by the time I come home tonight. Brrrrr.

Some how I feel guilty! It will be 85 F. today in sunny Southern California. Not only feeling guilty but also a little depressed because we need rain.
So glad you're back in 1863. I'm ready for the book.
How's the book going Vicki? Is it nearly finished yet?
I can't wait until I am able to visit, via your new book, 1863!
