Love the barns, the scenery in the backgrounds, mountains and trees!

Wonderful old buildings...is the last house being painted blue? Pretty. Achoo - for goldenrod though! One of the first things (of many) to which I discovered I'm allergic.

It's nice to see the environs.

Thanks for the pictures. Love the two houses. The one with the balcony is wonderful. That would be a bit of an extravagance back then. The other with the big porch is something that looks familiar in my memories. The pasture picture if you enlarge seems to have a cemetery way back on top of the hill? Thanks again Vicki for bringing me back home.

Lovely to see your mountains as always Vicki. Where I live now we have hills not mountains. I have travelled in your mountains and I know how spectacular they are. It's so nice to be reminded.

Vicki, early August is creating so many lovely photo ops in your part of North Carolina. I thank you for showing us a continuing show of both vistas and close ups. Each picture does tell a story.

Backtracking a post, to La Donald (sure he's admire the La,) I did watch that sort-of debate off and on, and found the level rather sad altogether. I am very glad that the first question was asked, and also that Ms Kelly asked her questions.

I've heard tell that DT actually keeps the tips given to folks who work in his restaurants and bars. No one has asked him about this attractive trait yet.

Library update, my reserved copy of To Kill a Mockingbird is now awaiting my collection. I just finished Milan Kundera's The Festival of Insignificance and recommend it. Short on page total, very long on fine writing.
