Making Order from Chaos in the Garden. . . and Taking a Picture or Two






The broccoli and most of the other cole crops are terminal -- bug ridden and thoroughly foul. There's nothing for it but to hoick them out.
 

But there are still eggplants and peppers . . . and some flowers to enjoy . . .

Vicki, I am sorry about those bugs and the need for hoicking. What a grand word!

It's good that some garden participants continue to find a way to do their thing as you'd planned and hoped.

Only one failed crop out of so many. How wonderful the results. I'm gonna use hoick to describe some of my golf shots. Describes my "over the top, pulled" golf shots.
