One probably has to be a gardener to understand the excitement of seeing tiny squash seedlings appearing . . .
And the joy of kale (three different types)
and collards . . .
And a nice little sprouting of cucumbers and beets . . .
Oh, the salads we'll have!

My daughter has done some container gardening, but this is her first year for a boxed garden. She's already planning another one, or two!
Oh yes the first leaves or should I say the first Leaf! So many miracles in life.
My sunflower seeds just came up. I'm also thrilled. A thrill can be spurred by such simple things!
Vicki, seeing those first leaves is equal to a Broadway show's opening night! Curtain's up. xo
YAY! Looks marvelous! I'm not a gardener or grower, however, I loved the small organic farm that I had found back in Maine … it was just a couple miles away and if they didn't have what I wanted out front in the stand, I could go out and pick it myself from the field if I wanted to (they would point to where). Very cool.
