I think snapdragons are what my grandmother used to have around her porch. Yours are lovely.
I love seeing both those translucent purple petals (stained glass comes to mind) and then the seed head of Clemantis. Doesn't it also have a nice scent? Perhaps to offset that of Mr. Vulgaris? At times I'm at least a little grateful to have limited olfactory ability these days.
