That isn't the same little tiny bud, is it? Did the other one bloom yet?
And what is/was it?
Maybe you already answered that question in the comments on the original post, but it's too early to research... :-P

holy cow...the fog was so thick here today that it took me an extra 15 minutes to get to work...did not want to go off the side of the mountain....

Same question...little green shoot is what? Foggy mornings, and some evenings...glad we didn't get iced with the recent cold rains.

Vicki, aren't there some blue grass tunes about foggy mountains?

When we have heavy fog in the city, it's a bit spooky to see the tops of buildings disappear. When the fog begins to lift, it's sort of mesmerizing to watch the buildings emerge, first appearing as a subtle glow of lights.

FOGGY MOUNTAIN BREAKDOWN ala Flatt and Scruggs. If the foggy day gives you the blues just listen to ole Flatt and Scruggs pickin and strummin and you will get up and dance a jig.

You made me wish I had some trees around here. Their bare branches are stunning in your pictures. Now I have to go read about Bob the Dog.

That is the same little bud -- it's drooped over but not opened yet. Probably a snow drop
