Blog Tour - First Stop

l
I'm not here today. I'm blogging about The Day of Small Things over at Poe's Deadly Daughters, the first of four mystery-related blogs I'm visiting in support of the new book. The post won't be up till 6 am EST on Saturday, so you early birds in California, NZ,  England, and Elsewhere will have to wait a bit if you choose to visit.

I'd really love it if you'd click over and leave a comment at PDD -- make me feel like one of the popular kids...

What's more, your comment over there will enter you in a drawing for a signed copy of The Day of Small Things -- my author's copies just arrived!

(And no, I didn't take the photo of the heron and I'm not sure of its origin -- I kind of think some one sent it to me -- if it was you, let me know and I'll give credit where it's due for this gorgeous shot.)

You all are so nice! I'll look forward to seeing you over there. I'll do a drawing on Monday.

That's so cool, Joan! I look forward to hearing what you think of my part of the world.

I'm hoping that was the seal of approval, Miss Yves.

Let the fun begin! I'm sure you must really enjoy the tour, but I'm equally sure it must leave you exhausted. I can't imagine the emotional roller coaster of writing and having a book published. I can't wait to read both of the new ones.

The most important question, though, is did EDDIE approve of the book shipment??
Tammy ;-)

This is actually the fun part -- NCMountainwoman --getting excited about the book coming out and hoping that it sells well. It's easy talking about this thing that occupied about a year of my writing life. A bit tiring too but so it goes.

Tammy, Eddie just told me to hurry up and get those stupid books out of his nice new box.

You must feel really excited when it gets to this bit - a whole box of your very own new book! Congratulations and I hope it does really well.

Vicki Lane said...

jennyfreckles -- it Is exciting! Thanks for the good wishes!

June -- I hollered at him to stop and set a spell but he just waved and kept going...

Just love that bird in flight!
(If I am not mistaken, the same heron and a few of his siblings reside at a pond behind Schönbrunn's Gloriette.)
