Well, pin a rose on my nose! I did it!
Call me happy! Call me relieved!
I wrote 2, 457 words today (not counting this blog post.) I'm off to have a cider, take a shower, and fall into bed.
Many thanks for the cheering which was in my head all day long!

Well, I knew you'd be done even as I posted on your previous post. Way to go, Vicki!
The pictures of the roses are so pretty, but I think you'd look (and feel) a lot better without one pinned to your nose. :-D
Enjoy your cider, shower and a good sleep...hope you have lots of sweet dreams!
Job done! Looks as though it could be a good year for the roses. Have a happy Sunday.
Beautiful pictures, but most important ... HIP HIP HURRAY for you!!! What a relief, I'm sure!!!
Way to go. Beautiful pictures. The roses are all very pretty.
Toodles!
Good job!
Wonder Woman!
Congratulations! :-)
A wonderful Sunday to you,
you truly earned it.

Well done!
Well done Vicki. Now you can have a relaxing Sunday in the knowledge that the job is done.
Blessings, Star
Hmm, not sure relaxing is the word for today as I'm on safari after the Giant Killer Dust Bbunnies lurking round my house.
But I'm feeling much relieved!
exciting!
lovely rose
on your nose,
loved the humor of yours.
Congratulations, Vicki! I can't wait to read the finished product. How long does it take your editor to review and get it back to you?
to say, Liz -- usually about a month. She may read it and tell me I've got to make major changes -- in which she won't edit till she gets my majorly revised copy. I'm not out of the woods yet, with this one. But I've reached a pleasant clearing in which to rest a while.
Thumbs up for you! -- barbara
I hope you feel cool now!
"Under the skin" ...
Is there , in your title , an allusion to the quote of Perse:
"...Intus et in cute"?
lovely roses, of course!
Thanks, Barbara!
Miss Yves, The title come from a poem by the English author Rudyard Kipling in which he says that all women, no matter how different, are "sisters, under the skin." As the book is about Elizabeth and her sister, it seemed appropriate!
But it's open to other interpretations . . .
Congratulations and Celebrations.
So, now you can start on the next epic?
Sorry, only joking, have another glass of cider, put your feet up and lean back and muse on anything but work.
Even if work is as enjoyable as writing.
Forgot to say, those roses are gorgeous. i hate you all, all you people who have roses in mid May, when i don't even have buds yet, here in the country which invented the rose garden (or so the Brits say) and prides itself on its roses and all things rose related.
I'm delighting in the roses. Friko! Things warmed up here earlier than usual.
Yay!!! Congratulations, Vicki!!! Kick your feet up and bask awhile. Well done, my friend.
