We do get some goodies in the sunrise department . . .
It really seems as if the sky holds a message . . . and not just the old weather forecast, 'Sailor, take warning.'
What might the message be? The visual could use some audio -- great organ chords and a massed choir singing a Dies Irae . . . or maybe Leonard Cohen in one of his grimmer moods.

Goodness me Vicki, what a selection of fantastic photographs!
Apocalyptic indeed, although skies like these could signal the end or the beginning.
The second in the sequence would certainly have had me staring, wide eyed, with my mouth gaping.
WOW ... that is truly awesome!
oh WoW...simply beautifully captured shots...lovely colours & the moments!
Gorgeous! We get some good ones too! I don't even know how to fool with them! HA!
Hello Vicky,
I a sure your are honnest with your photos. Yes, some times, the colors of the sky are so irreal that we can think the photos have been altered. It is a treat to watch this kind of sky.
I wish you a nice week end
Hi Vicki! You are the nicest Anonymous I met today!LOL.
These skies are stunning! I love that! You're right aboutb the cows: we call them Friesians, now Holstein and Friesland are not far apart.Friesland is Dutch and Holstein is German.
Have a great weekend.
Our bedroom faces east and many a morning I leap out of bed, grab my camera, and stand at the open window, snapping picture after picture -- it's a great way to wake up!
Oh! I'd prefer to hear Leonard Cohen 'sad songs than Dies Irae !
Gorgeous shots !
"Marions les Roses"(let's marry the roses"is a folk song of wedding .
No choice: random order(choosing takes too long time ! )
The second photo looks surreal, what a beautiful sky! It's amazing the beauty and COLOR that surrounds us, if we take the moments to look around.
Tammy
