Weekly short (1-2 pages) assignments will be read and discussed during class. The required reading will be Don’t Sabotage Your Submission by Chris Roerden (Bella Rosa Books, ISBN 978- 1933523316) This recent, fun to read, award-winning publication has been praised by beginning writers and well-established authors alike as one of the most useful handbooks on writing ever.
We'll be meeting February 17 through April 21 at the Mountain Heritage Center in Burnsville, on Wednesdays from 2-4:30. Registration is not yet open but you can check the link at the top of the page for more info.

Enjoy the book fair. Sorry to hear about your blogger problems. I couldn't move any of my gadgets for a long time - turns out blogger doesn't work well with gadgets on Google Chrome. Doesn't make sense but I finally could work with the gadgets using Internet Explorer. C'est la vie.

Did you truly post at 3:05 a.m.? I'm a night owl who might see that time of day if still up from the night before, but to get up at that time--major emergencies only.

The book fair was great -- I'll post about it in the next few days.
Blogger rejected a recipe that I'd cut and pasted from a word doc -- I'd put it at the end of longish post and I was too sleepy to try to redo it.
Actually, Lynne -- It was shortly after midnight when I finished that post. Blogger has an option where you schedule posts and I just pick an arbitrary early morning time.
