I haven't baked much in the last couple of decades, so let my sifter go somewhere along the line. I loved how the two photos of the painting of the spoon had different colored blues...just a different shot with some light coming in differently to the painting.
I love the quality of age and patina that you have captured in these studies. In response to Sandra, it's interesting that I don't think we use sifters much over here (UK) . If I have to sift flour I use a sieve.

A sifter is essential for baking. What could possibly replace it?
