Can't believe I didn't get a picture of the young uns decorating the tree . . . It's almost done -- Tomorrow I'll add the icicles and snowflakes and candy canes then get a pic of the finished creation.
Josie thought all this carrying on was lots of fun.

Oh! you're getting on nicely Vicki. I love the stocking you've made for Josie. Looks good hanging on the fireplace, doesn't it!
What are the little red things you've threaded on with the popcorn? Are they dried cherries?
Preparations continue on apace here too, but snow is hampering my shopping expeditions...
Yes, it's nice to have a stocking once more. The red things are cranberries, Star.
Oh the joy (and time involved) in stringing popcorn and cranberries! A good family get-together, and now you can enjoy the tree for a few weeks. Your stitchery is beautiful. Lucky Josie!
Josie’s pleasure in the world around her is such a joy to see. Has she been out to see the snow yet?
Love every picture, my favourite, Josie and the other is her stocking. Your home is warm and inviting. ❤️❤️❤️
Tell us about the tiny button sewn on with gold...?
Lovely! Just imagine the lights and colors and chaos from her eyes...no wonder she appears delighted with all the activity. :)
Love Josie's stocking -- especially the button star atop the tree! 💝🎄
She is so adorable! The true gift of Christmas! 💟
Bethany -- just a way of making the most of the little gold embroidery thread I had. The little red tree, however, is made of fabric my grandmother gave me fifty years ago. She said she'd had a dress made of calico just like that when she was young. So it's a link for Josie to her great great grandmother.
What joy your home brings to Josie and to the folks on this blog. With all the hustle and bustle she is constantly entertained and entertaining.
Joy!
Icicles and popcorn strings. You carry on old traditions. This is good.
