Cows are suspicious of dogs, as well they should be. Dogs in a pack can be dangerous to cows. Layla seems to want to play with them but they are having none of it.
Thank you so much, Vicki, for letting the rest of us see these beautiful, and amusing, pictures of your countryside views. What colors! The dogs and cows photograph is quite classic. xo
So beautiful those fall colors. I noticed in one picture you have a level path to keep the cows from having legs shorter on one side than the other. I have been spreading the word to my city folks that cows in mountainous areas are bread to have longer legs on one side so they can graze without falling over. Of course that means you have to have an equal amount of cows with legs longer on the other side so the hillsides will be evenly eaten.

The leaves are getting so gorgeous and I see some frisky pups!
What do cows think of dogs anyway?

Thanks for info on cows and dogs for a city gal!

Oh well just a bit of fun
Beautiful autumn set! Have a wonderful day.
Wonderful photos! They leave me speechless! Have a wonderful week!
Jim's comment made me smile. My dad used to tell me that! Your beautiful Jersey looks rather disdainful of the dogs.
We have told visitors from the city the same story...
