Yesterday it rained like one thing, as they say in these parts.
Which means it rained really, really hard
And, as the old folks also say, 'they're giving snow for tomorrow.'
I'm hoping it's not going to happen . . .
All the water going into the ground is welcome . . . but oh, how ready we are for Spring!
Everything is poised on the edge -- a haze of green on the pastures and some of the trees are showing signs of budding. . .
And that outdoor wedding is less than a month away.

Spring must be so close now. Rain is the very thing we are short on; I'd love to see a substantial rainfall.

WE too got a day of rain. And indeed snow last night into today. But thankfully only a little snow and no ice!

Yesterday we had heavy rain too, but spring is close. Jonquils blooming, forsythia just opening, and birds are changing to breeding plumage. Isn't it wonderful?
hopefully the rain is getting out of the way before the wedding...smiles.....it is pouring snow here today....
We are appreciating the rain here too, but I'm same as you---just rain please, no more snow and certainly not these cold temps. again! Didn't you guys have a big snow there about this time last year or the year before? Hope everything warms up and 'springs out' before the wedding.

Oh, this winter seems to be dragging on so long here too. A few signs of spring but not many yet.
That middle photo of the raindrops is gorgeous; I can almost feel the moisture from here! I remember living in Maine and watching like a hawk for the first sign of tree buds...
I wish for your whole family garlands of wedding blessings...for weather, blooms, moods.....and a down-home-good-time!
