I'd want to look, just not drive.

Oh dear, you too!
Snow everywhere, it seems. I woke up to another day of deepest winter, snowflakes swirling out of the sky like feathers. Yikes!

Too much snow for me this time of year, and oh such strong winds with low temperatures! Yikes!

If the snow sticks around do you have alternate plans for the wedding?

The snow continues . . . the wedding could be in the barn,

But the forecast for Friday and Saturday is hopeful.

This storm is sticking a bit, not enough to cover roads here, just dusting the cars actually. But I took pics, cause we didn't have but light snow all winter. I feel for those that had a lot. Watching it float down for over 24 hours however!

I'm beginning to think that not only folks are tired of snow but so are dogs. -- barbara

What a bummer (I think that’s the word.) It was warm when we went to Bulloch Hall 10 days ago and this morning when we woke up there was a snow flurry – it did not stick, but the sky is grey and it is windy. A huge pine tree fell down in the back – luckily the other way from our roof.
It is my birthday today and I was hopeful but my husband had a toothache – and instead of the nice birthday lunch we went to the dentist where he got a $1400 crown – can’t believe dentist prices in the US. While he was having this done I was reading Julia Child’s “My Life in France” which got me totally depressed – not the book, but the fact that I was at the dentist in GA instead of back home in Paris at a good pastry shop… such is life… But I did like your snow photos with the golden light. Now – what about a birthday dinner? Well I did not buy any food – but I have several cans of sardines in the pantry… no candles to make a wish.
