Gorgeous shots! We've already got the AC on.

Oh, Vicky... you have them where I can make them large! Thank you!

Funnily enough, our climate shares the same sense of humour as your climate.

Went to our first Equinox Festival at a friend's house on Wednesday night. We held hands, welcomed the light back to the world, had a bonfire during a rip roaring mountain wave windstorm (don't try this at home), then it started to snow. This was after the most beautiful clear blue sky day. We shall see if the semi tender flowers I just planted survive this smack on the derriere. The mother, indeed, can be a trickster.

Gorgeous photographs. And the cardinal does not appear amused at the snow, even if he is looking so fine.

Beautiful pictures Vicki. Love the way the light makes the snow glow.

We had the same surprise here yesterday too and it never warmed up enough for all the snow to melt, so there are still reminders here and there. We also have more snow in the forecast. Ugh!

The light in those photos is just beautiful. It's too bad I can't appreciate it more by imagining myself standing in the middle of it. I see snow and I feel cold whether or not it's "my" snow.

Ms.A -- I have nothing to do with that, I don't think. I posted as I always do. Mysterious are the ways of Blogger....

That early light on snow is so gorgeous -- I was running from front porch to back, half-dressed, trying to catch that pinky glow.

I have to apologize for not doing more blog visiting -- with the wedding and the Easter party almost upon us, I'm covered up with things that have to get done yesterday.

Thanks Vicki, for recording the beauty of the mountains and the fickle weather...have a wonderful weekend, where I see rain forecast!

Gorgeous shots, but I'm thinking Punksatawney Phil must be a fraud.

So pretty, but I do believe I will use the one word that makes me cringe every time one of my grandkids use it... seriously?!?

They say Sunday will be our turn.

Oh, but it brought the opportunity for some gorgeous photographs. I love the way you captured the beautiful light. Thanks for sharing them.

Snow joke! We're not laughing here either, and it looks much the same, only our sky is white.
