The Persistence of Memory and Spam

The images, of course, are Dali's famous melting timepieces in his iconic "The Persistence of Memory."

But I'm here to share some recent spammy bits that have come my way from folks hoping to entice me to purchase "the ritzy use value watches (which) are brobdingnagian idiosyncrasy to represent a look asseveration of yourself in the society."

These aren't just any cheap knock-offs either. These are genuine faux watches made by genuine faux watchmakers who "are committed their perseverance and girlfriend to organize a watches with pampered about up and unsurpassed nobility in the world!!!" (Exclamations mine.)

These folks assure me that wearing said watches "can significantly consequences on your standing level" and they remind me that "the weight of the people is judged mostly on their appearance."

Besides, they tell me, "Every tom wants to cope fierce peerage in the society."

Oh, I do. But I'm still wondering where the watchmakers' girlfriend comes into it . . .

So glad you found words in keeping with the surrealist images.

I was pleased to hear that you're heading for home in a day or two. That'll be the best tonic of all.

When...a visual warped world becomes...
verbal.
Then switched into an effervesant strangeness,
as well as probably - translated by
computers, (from Chinese I figure, and adolescent at that) that's what you get.
Laughing out loud! Thanks for chuckles over morning coffee!

"the weight of the people is judged mostly on their appearance." Yogi Berra couldn't have said it better. I need to turn off my spam filter. I'm missing too much fun.

A wonderful marriage of words and pictures here, Vicki. Some of the spam phrases are beyond weird. I can't imagine how they get made up - is it Google-translate, do you think?
