Morning sun boils up
Beyond the fog-cloaked mountains . . .
A new day begins. . .
Late afternoon clouds,
Blushed with the sun's parting kiss,
Make way for the moon. . .
Floating luminous
In the still sky . . . spell caster,
Dream weaver . . . night's lamp.

What beautiful photos and words, thank you for this lovely post.
Your day looks to have been very like the day we have just had.. I wonder will we see the very same moon over NZ tonight. It is so wonderful to be in contact with someone on the other side of the earth and be so aware of the dance of the seasons. How amazing to be alive on this planet in this age of instantaneous communication!
Lovely. Vicki.

That moon looks as though it's lit from inside like a giant lantern - I guess we'd call that a harvest moon.
Sigh. Beautiful. Both the words and the pictures.
