Wool Branch Makers

Josie and Claui and Grandma Nancy had a table at a crafts sale that was part of Marshall's Christmas Celebration.

A three generation trifecta! Josie made lively book marks, Claui did beautiful embroidered pieces, and Nancy's gorgeous potholders and charming hearts were on display.

Such a talented trio!

So Wool Branch was the name of their "company". I was thinking what are wool branches when I read your title.

Good for Josie for contributing.

How wonderful to have women's fiber-arts at a fair! I hope they sold well. You have lots of creative women relatives, it seems!

Lots of sales for this trio I hope. Moments to cherish.

Where we live, a branch is a small stream. The branch that runs through our farm is called Wool Branch because--about a century ago--,a woman who lived here kept sheep and sometimes bits of their wool could be seen floating down the branch. Or so I was told. Anyway, it's the name of our farm and of the road we live on.

Thanks for the history.
