A Joyful Reunion

We had a visit last weekend from our friend Vic. He's the one who's responsible for our adding Layla to our family.

I told the story of how she found him and how he rescued her HERE.

She remembered him and gave him lots of kisses. He mentioned that she'd put on weight and I told him that we thought there is something in the water here -- it seems to happen to all of us.

Awwww, how sweet! She's showing her appreciation for him finding her a good home!

Is it too soppy to say that your farm seems to be the epicenter of kindness and acceptance? Thanks for all the "oppositeness" of the world today!

Vicki, I don't think that what daybreak has commented is too soppy. Not one bit. xo

It is so great to see how the dog remembers the nice man. It is a great story. I remember someone from Iowa was involved with the transportation. It was nice for the guy to stop and see the adoptive parents. You are good people too.

Lovely post. And some people say dogs live only in the here and now. Such a heart-warming sight to see Layla and her rescuer.
