"Must Really Say Damn..."

The title is a quote from The Dowager Duchess of Denver in Dorothy L. Sayers's GAUDY NIGHT . . . the pictures are from yesterday morning . . .

We got four or so inches of snow topped by at least an inch of rain (heating pad applied to back as I type) and then plummeting temperatures. Yes, it's pretty, but my sentiments are right along with the Dowager Duchess.

What a mood the snowy woods give...and I notice your perspective is close to indoors! Keep warm!

It's the wind here that makes me say "damn." We didn't get snow, thank goodness.

Yes your perspective puts you indoors, but I know there is work to be done outside so that is the damnable thing.
I feel guilty living out here in the land of milk and honey with 60F and clear morning skies.

Your photos always complement your words and feelings and that's so neat.

As pretty as a dusting of snow looks, there are times when it's not as welcome as one would think. ;-)

Such a nice view but I know it's not the same thing to see it and to live in it!

O well, just think that it MUST be spring again some time.
