Fall Garden Cleanup

What a dump! Time to put away the shade cloth and pull some weeds . . .

"I was toad to pose for a picture."

The basil is still flourishing but I have so much pesto in the freezer from last year I'm just ignoring it.
The amazing cucumber still blossoming . . .

A single chard remains . . .

Lettuce going to seed . . .

And a delicate radish blossom.

Summer sure went by fast...seems like it goes faster every year.

It doesn't feel much like it here, but it's hard to believe it's fall already.

Your garden still looks good to me. Our basil did not make it this year. It lasted a month or so. Our rosemary died last winter as most of our fig tree. But we did get a tiny plant that blossomed into big flowers, but it had no tag. I placed it at the end of my post – do you know what it is?
