Gorgeous flower show, Chelsea of the Carolina Mountains!
When I was a little girl, my brothers and I loved to watch a stand of Siberian Iris grow by a brook near my parents' house. We would run the few hundred yards every afternoon and check the progress of the buds. It was always a great joy to finally see the first one open. The brook was lined by a few white birch trees, the same one often sees in the Russian countryside.
The word that comes to mind is: "delicious!" Don't usually associate that word with flowers, but there it is. Not that I want to eat that iris, but it's delicious for my eyes. Love the neon effect - really brings out those curves!

Wow, beautiful flowers! I really like that 'neon' effect, wish I had it.
Things are a bit sluggish over here, what with all the wet weather. Looking forward to more colour, soon.
Everything is looking SO lovely!
