Vicki spent most of Tuesday at big stores in Asheville, laying in provisions for Christmas and beyond. Vicki does not like to shop so she rewards herself with a nice dinner with sparkling wine. Now she is enjoying some post-dinner port and pecans and chocolate, after which she will do the dishes and go to bed early, as Willa has an appointment at 6:15 AM for a ride to the spay/neuter clinic . . .

Early Christmas for Willa. Hope she doesn't remember it next year!
Good luck to Willa. I'm sure there will be some tasty treats for the patient.
How nice that Eddie keeps up up-to-date while you're out and about! Good luck to Willa ... hopefully this will settle her down a little bit?
Eddie is quite the hero to step up and fill in for Vickie.
I ADORE your dining room, Eddie. Genius to have the dining table situated for panoramic viewing and napping! Vickie is lucky to have a talented writer and decorator in you.
Ooh that's two busy days in a row Vicki. You'll need another treat today to get through this one!
Great view from the table. Jim
oh poor willa...i will pray...smiles...
Tried to persuade Amy to write my blog-posts for me whilst I was away but she was demanding too much pay.
Hello Vicki
Hope all goes well for Willa! I also hope to have my blog in order Thursday~please visit soon.
Have a great evening
Best
Tracy :)
Pleased to meet you Eddie and thank you for this update on Vicki's whereabouts. I do like her style :)
Here's hoping young Willa recovers speedily from her sterilisation procedure. Our Coco who looks very much like Willa was fine and bouncing around two days after her op. We were certainly far more concerned about it than she was.
Fer Gawd's sake!
I just came from The Good Life in Australia and she's blogging about wine as well.
Stop it, you people! You're pushing me off the water wagon!
Good old Eddie -- I think I'll have him blog for me again.
The house has been very quiet without Willa -- she'll be at the vet's overnight and I'll get her tomorrow.
I'm sure she's in good hands -- the young woman neighbor who found her back in October and for whom Willa is named is a vet tech at the clinic and I think our Willa is probably getting extra-special attention.
Sorry, June -- I've found that some days just need wine.
What a lovely spot this would be for morning coffee!
