Almost There. . .

We had the usual help making the popcorn/cranberry chain yesterday . . . this year the tree sits up higher and we left off the lowest tier of garland because of the pup.

It's almost there -- the next step is to hang the tin icicles but that can wait till morning light.

That's a big tree! I remember when my kids used to string popcorn. I miss those days.

I love the popcorn and cranberry trails. Your tree is grand. I do get a bit grumpy having CHRISTMAS NOW.. when it is daylight til 9pm. I want Christmas in June! When it is dark.

Beautiful photo of the moon! Did you tie your tree to the ceiling as someone suggested?

That night scene is beautiful, and so is your tree. I think Willa must find that popcorn string verrrrrry interesting. :)

Oh that's looks so lovely. I like to see a traditional tree. I imagine popcorn and cranberry garlands might be attractive to a pup - heck, they might be attractive to me!

Thanks, folks! The tree is tied to the wall, not the ceiling. And so far (knock on wood, willa hasn't been too bad. I did discover one little koala bear with a muffler and Santa hat on the floor, missing an ear, alas, and all slobbery. But I didn't see the perpetrator...

Kath, re night photography, my camera has a setting for it. But you have to use a tripod or hold the camera very still.
