There was food and drink in plenty, dogs and a friendly heifer to pat, and, of course, there were eggs to hunt and parents and grandparents to take pictures.
The party began at 1 -- though folks started arriving at noon -- and went on till eight-ish at which time those of us who were left adjourned to our house for barbecue sandwiches.
There will be cleanup on Monday. And there are more pictures HERE.

Looks like a good time was had by all! I especially love the picture of the little girl and little boy wearing their hats and wellies by the stream...would you mind if I based a painting on that?
You have the perfect spot for such a family gathering! Looks like your day was a bit warmer than ours, but we did have plenty of glorious sunshine.
Your Easter party looks like a lot of fun. I agree with Willow, you have a beautiful spot.
Thanks again for the Premio Dardos Award. What an honor that was for me. I've just done a post on it.
Sam
What a wonderful party! It really looks like Spring at your place!
Looks like everyone had fun. Love the pictures.
Lovely pictures Vicki. I don't see you on any of them? I suppose you took them all?
Blessings, Star
Victoria -- of course you may. I was so delighted to have captured that lovely moment.
Willow -- the gods smiled on us -- Saturday and Monday were chilly and damp but Sunday was delightful. And it is, indeed, a perfect spot.
Sam -- You're welcome -- I always enjoys your posts!
Carol and Martha -- Glad you all enjoyed the pictures!
Star -- I am almost always the one taking the pictures. And I'm never thrilled about having my picture taken as somehow I always end up looking older and fatter than I think of myself.
Jeez!! "I always enjoys . . ."
My only excuse is that I have a world-class cold at the moment.
Like the weather, it held off till Easter Sunday was past for which I am so grateful.
Thank you, Vicki! Take care of that cold and feel better soon.
