Anyone Can Do Spring

 

 "Anyone can do Spring," sniffed a horticulturist in a garden magazine.  And it seems that way -- Nature is so obliging with so many wild things blooming while the weeds have not yet taken over.

Fresh colors and  the feeling of a new beginning permeate the land.

Daffodils, planted years ago and ignored thereafter,

 are like grace notes amongst the wild bloom.

Volunteer apple trees cover themselves in glory.

Even the lowly dandelion plays its part -- 

from modest yellow flower to a miniature exploding galaxy.

 Rebirth and resurrection on every hand.

Oh, yes, anyone can do Spring.

Sun Rise -- Outside and In

                               Monday morning -- up early to deal with clean up 

 The moon is high in the southern sky and the sun is not yet up . . .

 

 Waiting . . . waiting . . .

 The con trail is especially bright . . . as is the sky . . .

Cue 'Here Comes the Sun"

Always glorious . . .

Bringing the world to life. . .

In the living room, three little boys are enjoying the sun . . .

The big boys are entertaining Lucas.

 Asher says there are dragons floating in the air. . .

 Jack sees one . . .Lucas too.

Such fun to see the three boys together  . . .

It brought back memories of when our two boys and Jack's dad -- also three cousins -- were that age. They saw dragons too.

Easter Morning and Blue Skies!

Pre Easter

 In spite of freezing temperatures a few nights ago, the redbuds are beautiful.

 These pictures were made on a quick grocery run yesterday morning. Our big Easter party in tomorrow and there's much to be done.

  Nonetheless, there's always time to stop for a picture or two.

Even on a cloudy day, the new green of the trees is breathtaking. 

So much beauty. . .

And such a magical time . . .
