The first really looked liked it could have been a creature with legs protruding.
What a beautiful plant which just drops the lovely blooms like crazy! The cycle of life!
I always feel sad when my beloved orchids lose their blossoms. They are so beautiful and last an incredibly long time... but everything come to an end eventually.
They do look like that! Never thought of it until you wrote it.
