After spending a beautiful spring day worrying about Dear Leader doing something really awful that would brand our country forever as a rogue nation, I was relieved by the announcement of a two week ceasefire.
I'd hoped the orange idiot would find a face-saving way to back out of destroying a whole civilization in order to save it from its repressive leaders. And he has--but only for two weeks.
There seems to be building sentiment in favor of impeachment. I can only hope . . . and keep badgering my senators and representative to invoke the 25th. If ever anyone was manifestly unfit to be POTUS, it's the corrupt egomaniac currently infesting the Oval Office.
It's a hard reign (sic) gonna fall . . .and I'm not talking about Iran.

Can’t disagree, and that photo looks so pleasant.
At least the azaleas and dogwoods are beautiful. I am exhausted by trump's insanity.
What dismays me is the silence of Congress. Had I been Schumer or Jeffries, the moment that outrageous tweet showed up I'd have called every Democrat to return to DC and session so the Dems could at least say, "We're in an obvious crisis, and here *we* are, ready to discuss what needs to be done. Where are the Republicans?? He's *their* guy, after all!" But even that didn't happen. Hello?????
Beautiful blog

Thank goodness for spring to lift our spirits a bit. That blossom is stunning.
I'm with JJM though, wondering where on earth your other 'sensible' politicians are? Why are they not taking action? No-one can doubt that your president is seriously mentally unwell and incapable of carrying out the role he's inhabiting to anything like the necessary standard. It's very scary, not only for the US but the world. I awoke this morning deeply relieved that there hadn't been a nuclear strike, as I wouldn't put it past him! But two week's grace is all we seem to have and that's if Iran doesn't get mad that Israel is still pounding Lebanon.
