I was filling the bird feeder on our deck and the patterns on the weathered siding caught my eye.
I'm not sure why the knot holes show up so brilliantly, but they make arresting patterns.
I'm easily entertained.

I'm entertained by the same things. 😄 The natural patterns on furniture made of solid wood are so beautiful.
Funny you should write about this. We have knotty pine flooring in our bedroom and I was pointing out to Dan just this week all the faces in it. No galaxies. THough I should look for those.
