Sometimes I'm Tempted


 Sometimes I would really like to crawl into a blanket fort like Josie and not come out till this regime is gone . . .

But, as President Nixon said, that would be wrong.

My husband is keeping me informed. I only glance at the headlines. It is such a total mess. He is surrounded by idiots and yes-men and -women so no one spoke to all that could go wrong and the consequences of his stupidity.

Ah, the innocence of children! Much as we'd like, it just doesn't fit us any more. The closest I guess would be to fall into insanity...another temptation since all around seems to already have the affliction.

I shared your letter to your Congressional delegation with members of the book discussion group here in town. I read it out loud to them and they all were very impressed and wanted a link to your blog. I think some will share it giving you credit. I hope that's ok! By the way the book was Prophet Song that we discussed.
