Do you still have snow? We finally saw the last of our snirt (snow-dirt) piles a week ago when temps briefly went up to 60. The cats were running around on the screened porch as if summer had arrived, the wrens were singing and dozens of robins came out of the woods to forage on lawns all over the neighborhood. Back to the 40s now, but the cherry tree buds are swelling and soon it will truly be spring.

Rather a sad photo of the snow-crushed daffodils. I always feel like shouting at the buds and blossom to slow down a bit. We're having a mild and very springlike weekend but it will turn cold and frosty again next week, so all the new blooms are in peril.

We had snow but it's gone now.
