Words and pictures from the author of the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries and the forthcoming And the Crows Took Their Eyes . . .
I'd love to hear the examples you used in teaching her these words! Opinions?
Excellent words to learn early. Kudos to both of you.
Using her fork to eat and saying please and thank you is Polite. Pushing her plate or bowl onto the floor to indicate that she's had enough is Rude. Dropping unwanted food into Bob A Dog's waiting mouth is tolerated since she sees us feeding him at the table. How our shortcomings are magnified!
Whatever she does is fine with me! Of course, I don’t have to clean her and her clothes. 😄 She will learn by absorbing the behavior of the adults around her.
May she always have opinions. Gotta love Miss Josie. ❤️❤️❤️
