Welcome to the Herd, Baby Girl!

Another new calf, born Monday afternoon

Herschel and Clover (a recent mama herself) were interested.

This is Marigold's second calf and she handled the whole thing like a pro.

The baby's up!

Clover has to investigate...

John helps the baby find the milk bar.

The whole thing seems to have triggered a sucking response in mama as well as baby.

Toblerone wonders what all the fuss is about.

Yay, a heifer! She is full jersey isn't she? Can't wait to hear what you name her, as you all always come up with clever names.

I'm sure Marigold is one proud mama! That little one is so beautiful! It's always nice to have a new baby around.

Tammy -- yes, she's pure Jersey. A future milk cow, if all goes well.
