A Rambling Mind

Is it a glorified BLT with pimento cheese, basil and onion. . . or is it Pimento Cheese with that special je ne sais quoi . . . and a bit of bacon?

Whichever it is, it's quite tasty.

And then, being easily amused, I was entranced by the effect of adding water to the bacon grease, preparatory to washing the frying pan. Silver and golden rings!

Fractals ?  Maybe. Kitchen magic for sure!

My wayward mind led me outside where a light rain was making concentric circles in the goldfish pool . . . those were nice too . . .

But oh! imagine some kind of material that looked like bacon grease rings and could be used as a countertop. . .

And, is it just me or does the big goldfish in the last picture  look like he's in the air above the water?

Such a blessing to be easily amused!

That goldfish DOES look like it's in the air!

Love the grease rings. The color and pattern would make an amazing countertop!

The sandwich does look wonderful but I'll wait until the big summer tomatoes are at their best. Obviously, for me it would be a BLT not glorified pimiento cheese sandwich.

Vicki, I love the way that your wayward mind travels. Glad that you had your camera at the ready for the journeys.

Now...I must add bacon to my shopping list. It's about time I indulged.

I have an abstract mind too Vicki. I love your pictures and thoughts. Isn't it great to be a dreamer and follow it up with a delicious meal?

I can't decide if a 'bacon grease' countertop would be a boon (hiding the bacon grease drips) or a burden (hiding the bacon grease drips). Either way, I love the way your mind works!

A BLT with pimento cheese. I'll have to try that as I love both kinds of sandwiches.

Curiosity may kill the cat, but it makes for one amazing author! Yep, Vicki!
