Yesterday in the Garden

Early morning sun catches the new-leaved vines, making the tree's branches look furred...

Time to do some planting in the box beds . . .

In goes some Italian parsley . . .

Digging a hole, I disturb a sleeping toad who blinks in the sunlight . . .

Two beds weeded, planted and mulched . . . six to go . . .

And there are collards and kale and broccoli to plant . . .
and butterflies to watch . . .

Blogger wouldn't let me post this last night ...
Mysterious are the ways of Blogger.

Glad you were able to post this morning. Blogger has sure been letting me down with pictures. Where were you standing for the birds eye view (pic #2) of the garden?

On our front porch, Barb. We are on a mountainside and EVERYTHING is steep.

Even if blogger wasn't cooperative, looks like the weather was.

Frustrating.. That is what blogger and technology is these days! Mr. Toad reminds me of hubby first thing in the morning :)

Blogger made us wait, but it was worth it.

Spring has arrived in earnest, even up in the Carolina mountains! Beautiful.

We hit the mid 80s yesterday and most of the public pools are open already. Hard to believe how fast spring advanced around here.

Vicki, I appreciate being able to see every one of these photographs of natural beauty in your garden, and am so, so glad that mysterious blogger opened the garden gate to us.

Deanna -- Toad does have that rumpled, grouchy, early morning look...maybe he needs some coffee.
