Great photos of the new greenery Vicki. We had hoped to see the wild dogwoods when we returned, but almost all of them have leafed out.

I drove home after my class yesterday and the skies were purple with clouds but when the sun peeked through, the landscape lit up in such a tapestry of greens that it was startling...

Yes to freshly born green leaves as they climb the mountain sides! Great pictures. I need to get in my little car and toodle up the side of mountains for some new pictures myself.

Vicki, what wonderful varied light in those layers of landscape. So many differing greens are revealed. You are so right to call it startling!

Ahh...lovely. I love the lit-up spring-green trees. Spring is SO welcome this year.

By the way, I saw you on Bookwatch---you were great!

Goodness, it's looking gorgeous and I wish I was there to see it in person!

We drove over to Asheville today and talked about how lovely the different shades of green were. Great photographs.

My favorite time in spring when every possible shade and hue of green is painted softly across the landscape.
