Trading Up

“There’s no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate"

Newt Gingrich, quoted HERE.

Trading Up! You have nailed it, Vicki. What business is Newt's personal erotic life to me? He made it my business as a voter when he claims family values as a running platform, when he refuses to even consider same sex relation rights, and when he helped lead the inquiry into what the president at the time was doing in HIS personal erotic life.

When spouses cheat and then divorce to marry the person they were cheating with, do you think the latest spouse wonders when it will be their turn to be cheated on. I know I would!

It's too late at night and I'm too tired to accurately describe how I feel about this man.

I'll just leave it at "he's a despicable, lying, thieving, egotistical, hypocritical, arrogant, delusional, self-centered sack of sh*t masquerading as a human being."

Like many politicians, Gingrich is a joke. What a shame too few of the electorate only get the punchline long after they've cast their vote.

Re Paragraph #7 in the article . . . and how much money did Newt and his political party waste going after Bill Clinton????
I'd like to show this post and the article to Husband but it's all he would talk about (chew nails, bite sticks in two) all day, so I won't.

Exactly, Novice Naturalist. I really don't care about Newt's serial adultery -- it's the hypocrisy and the lame excuse -- blaming it on his passion for the country. Give me a break!

Mrs. A -- it's been pointed out that Newt's first two marriages each lasted 18 years -- Callista's shelf life has a few years to go.

Oh, Victoria, don't hold back. Tell us what you really feel.

That too, June.

Oh my, this post and the comments accompanying it were just the antidote to the photo I just saw on Yahoo of Newt and Callista in front of this huge smiling photo of Newt. I was just staring at it, thinking, what on earth shall I do if that man becomes president of the United States. I am no saint, and usually do not judge so harshly, but I just don't understand how millions of Americans are apparently clamoring to elect someone who has PROVEN he cannot be trusted, who has been found guilty of ethics violations, and who, in my opinion, is the absolute picture of hypocrisy. I just shake my head and wonder... what am I missing??

Bravo, Victoria! I had issues with Clinton being our leader when his own character and morals SUCKED!
I am in Texas; we love Republicans; but if this man is elected, I'm going to do what I have threatened to do for years - sell everything I own and move to a Crofter's Cottage in Scotland. Or a mountain in NM where I can have all the dogs I want and drive a blue pickup.
