Up Close

Mel, over at Luna Secrets, had some amazing close ups of viburnum leaves which inspired me . . .
These are pear tree leaves.
What beauty . . .
And what a gift, however fleeting!

I love when the camera picks up the veins in the leaves. So intricate.

It's marvellous what we see when we take the time to really look and draw in closely. This way, we are able to appreciate so much more. There is so much depth and beauty all around that we look past in our hurried lives. Your close ups are really lovely.

Extraordinary beauty surrounds us, if only we would stop and take a closer look. Lovely photos, Vicki.

Beautiful. This year the burning bushes have been spectacular here. Do you have those?

These are lovely! I love the curve of the leaves, the warmth of the light. I'm especially enjoying them today since a windy cold front blew most of our leaves away and the weather has taken a decided turn.
I'm honored to have inspired you!

It's amazing how beautiful leaves are. I recently saw a table top decorated with leaves, pieces of wood and dried flowers. they were protected by a sheet of glass. Is was so colourful.

Wow, those veins on the second pic remind me of a vast river system. Isn't nature's detail amazing?

Yes, there is beauty everywhere if only we stop and look.
