yes, we're off. I am not sure whether to wish for a mild or a hard winter, not that that will have any effect on the reality of it.

After frosty weather Friday it began to warm and was in the seventies today.

And after a teaching gig yesterday morning, I bailed out of the conference and went and bought Thanksgiving supplies. I'm done with my little book tour and look forward to some productive time -- and catching up with you all.
