Dog Friends

Ali and Willa are unlikely playmates...

In spite of a considerable size/weight difference . . .

They like to play-fight . . .
Willa is tireless...
And fearless. . . .

And she likes to win.

Super captures of your lovely canine family, Vicki. Willa is such a cutie and reminds me a lot of our Rescue pup, Coco. They were having a marvellous romp on your leather couches, a wise choice with dogs :)

Adorable! What kind of mix (?) is Willa? She is SO huggable looking...

I think this is a powerful message of acceptance.

Reminds me of my granddogs, one's a Pit and the other is a Chihuahua. They do this all day long!

Gorgeous dogs, Vicki!

I'd love to know if Ali's whispering something in the last shot.

What fun pictures! I sure miss having multiple dogs, but so it goes.

I have pictures from several years ago of a couple of my dogs doing exactly the same moves. It's so much fun to watch . . . can you imagine the fun they have, playing together?

Why is it so often the littler dogs are more assertive than the bigger dogs?

I'm so glad Willa has fit right in and has playmates to romp with!

Yes, Desiree. at some point we realized leather sofas were the only choice for folks too weak-minded to keep the dogs off. Not my favorite look but...

Darla, I don't know what Willa's heritage is -- she's big into tracking scents like a beagle and she has the energy and fierceness of a terrier. Maybe someone has a guess.

So right, Marilyn and Ms. A. Ali could kill her in an instant but he chooses to play nicely instead.

We are thrilled to have Ali come visit so Willa can work off some of her energy. They go at it hard for a while and then both collapse into sleep.

Such loving acceptance between the two shows the loving home they've come into.

Tooo funny! :-) Looks like little Willa has livened things up quite a bit...and made herself right to home.
Enjoyed the pictures.

Just like the Beagle and Chessie I pet sit. They go after each other like crazy.

Oh that is so cute!!! Love it! When I lived in Minnesota, my German Shepherd at the time - Jessie - made friends with a Boston Terrier. They loved to play together - Jessie on the floor, and Flicka, the Boston, up on the couch. They worked this out on their own, and it was perfect as it put them roughly on the same eye level. It was so cute to watch!

P.S. I love Willa's pillow. :)

I love the image of the third dog watching from a distance! It looks like I need to go out and get "Under the Skin". Congrats on another book!
