They tell me that this time I'm really over at Jungle Red, explaining how living in a New Age vortex has led to creeping woo-woo in my writing. Do stop by and share your thoughts on woo-woo.
And by the way, notice how when I superimposed the picture of a vortex (lifted from the internet) over one of our own sunrises, THE SUN IS CENTERED IN THE VORTEX!
Coincidence? Or the Appalachian Crystalline Vortex at work?
You be the judge.

Your image is absolutely sensational, Vicki!
If you are there, I still couldn't find you. I do love the vortex over your photo!
I really like the vortex treatment, Vicki. I'll keep checking Jungle Red. Nothing there, yet.
7:00 and still nothing...ugh....sorry vicki...can be frustrating depending on others...anyway i like the pic...have a wonderful day
Very cool photo Vicki; still couldn't find you on Jungle Red.
Maybe the woo-woo got your article. I used to be a nieghbor of the Light Center in Black Mountain. The ultimate woo-woo vortex:>
Have you vanished down the vortex? Or have I?
ARRGH! I don't know what's up -- I was assured my post would be up today. Yes, perhaps we should blame the vortex.
It's up! (Obviously the Reds are not as early risers as some of us.)
The term "woo-woo" was new to me, but I have always loved the ghosts and "the sight" in Appalachian writing. It must be my Celtic heritage. So I'm still looking forward to seeing more of "Mr. Aaron." Jim
And I'm looking forward to giving Mr. Aaron a larger role, Jim ... I really like him.
can you post a new link? keep getting a 404 not found error on the link...
The link has disappeared in a vortex now...
The link won't work for me, either.
I love your photograph!
But! I got to it by typing www.jungleredwriters.com into my search bar.
I'm blaming the vortex. I put the link in and checked it and it worked. Then, blooey, it was gone. Trying once more ...
I'm away from home -- had a reading at a bookstore in Waynesville, a launch party for fresh! literary magazine ( I have a story in this issue) and dinner with the fresh! people. Now I'm in a nice B&B trying to sort out what went wrong with this post.
I think I've fixed the link . . . but I thought that before.
As I am a 'woo-woo-type' I have to say that your essay over on Jungle Red tickled me pink. :-)
