I Call It Serendipity . . .

when I use the wrong camera setting and get a picture that is a black oblong . . .

but which, tweaked with Fill Light and Auto Contrast,

turns out to be something strange and lovely. . .
perhaps a fairy's-eye view of Nature.

That third photo actually kinda looks like a purple winged fairy.

I thought so too, Mrs. A . . .

Life has been getting in the way of my blog visiting -- I hope to catch up with all of you tomorrow.

Absolutely lovely photos! Hope you remember those 'wrong' settings! This vision is worth repeating.

Very lovely - and just a little unsettling.

Am currently reading one of your recommendations - THE STRANGER YOU SEEK. Thoroughly enjoying - it is truly a keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller. Hope it turns into a series. Thanks!

Keep well.

Serendipity, one of my favorite words, beautifully illustrated here!

I learned that one of the hardest things to do is letting lose, forgeting about trying to take a perfectly exposed picture. ;-)

Those pictures are neat ... glad you shared your 'mistakes'.

Delicate and beautiful, and a parable of what's there that we don't SEE.

That's when photography becomes "art!"

I thought that purple thing looked like a fairy as well. Much nicer than the 2 inch big hornets I've been seeing here.

Happy fall!

I first thought you had started painting! I love it! XO

Those are just lovely. Who would have thought you could have gotten such beauty from a mistake. Hmmm, might be a lesson in there.

Hello Vicki

Lovely indeed!

I agree with Ms. A--I do see a fairy and I love the quote Wayfarin Stranger shared(must put this one in my quote book).

Have a great day!

Best
Tracy :)

Your photos remind me of the arts and crafts period only they didn't have a camera to tweak. Nice. -- barbara

Very lovely - I like the heart shapes. Most of my best photos are more by luck than judgement but I have never redeemed anything so spectacularly well as these.
