Wil, my camera is a Nikon D90 with a 18-200 mm. lens. I love it.
Victoria -- I don't know what the orange and black one is -- but I find him quite attractive.
The wasp (or 'wasper' as the folks around here say) has a mean sting but they're not aggressive. I've only ever been stung when I've inadvertently put my hand down on one.
Nor do I know the names of the buggies taking part in the orgy on the Queen Anne's Lace.
Bugz indeed! We don't have 'em here in western NY too bad, but I'm having to keep the wasps from building nests in the siding, and keep the carpenter ants from eating the house.
BTW: I asked you months ago about the D90. I wound up buying a D5000 and I'm really liking it so far. The 90 had a lot of video features I didn't really need....
Love the pictures! The butterfly looks like nature's stained glass. I'm not sure, but the bugs on the Queen Anne's Lace might be a type of lightening bug.
So, here's one of those life lessons. Not only are the flowers beautiful, but so are the insects. Makes me examine the purpose of each, the pieces that make the whole puzzle.

Your bugz have been busy! These photos are excellent and very good macros. You must have a great camera.
Pretty 'bugz!' Especially that black and orange one.
We need all these little bugz to help us deal with healthy plants...
